Can someone identify this Bushnell Banner model.  I know it's a 3 X 9 and that's it.

Sorry for thanking in advance, can you edit posts on this forum?  If so, can't find the edit prompt?

You will need to have 50 post to gain access to the edit function. As far as type that's it. If age is your question it probably is from the 80s to 90s. The current models do not have the large white numbers.

Thanks for your help.  What I'm really looking for is the outside diameter of both ends, I want to purchase flip open lens covers for a friend as a gift but all I have are quick rough measurements I took when she wasn't looking.  I won't have access to the scope before Xmas.

A gift certificate might be the best choice, one really needs to either take the scope to the store where you can try on sizes to get the best fit or buy based on the size info from measurements or known measurements and on an older scope that is guess work unless SWFA can look up the dimensions.

Urimaginaryfrnd:  Tks for the input.  One thing I noticed is that mfg don't really list those specs and with good reason I guess.  When these scopes were made, not many people used lens caps on them.  And if they did, they used the ones with long stretching nylon "cords" which held the caps on, regardless if they were too big.
