I just bought 2 Zeiss 12x3x56 illuminating scopes with #44 recital.  About a 1.5 years ago I lost some vision in my shooting eye and it's almost the center of the eye . I was using Leupold 3x10x50 scopes on all my rifles with illuminating cross hairs, but now I'm  having trouble with low light hunting I can see deer but I'm unable to see thru the scope. Last month I borrowed my buddy's rifle which has a 3x12x56 illuminating scope with # 8 recital which is very thick cross hair and even when lit and was able to see and shoot deer without any problems Big Grin

Does anyone know if Zeiss can put this # 8 illuminating cross hairs in my scopes ?

I  believe if you call their customer service, they will be able to help you.  It will probably require a trip back to Germany for the scope and some coin.

Are those the Varipoint scopes?

Victory Diavari  T  I sent Zeiss a email but they gave me the standard Blah blah never answered my question if they would change them. I don't mind paying the extra. I just came back from 2 weeks of hunting in SC and I had problems with the cross hairs under low light which is why I bought the scopes. If they can't do it I'm going to try and find some use ones or try and trade the ones I have for the #8. Or the best solution would be for the doctors to figure out what went wrong with my eye and fix it SmileYippeeExcellent

Thanks for any input

Give their CS a call.  I find I get better answers over the phone from them.  If they can't take care of it, drop me a line and we can talk...
