Im a big fan of no battery setups ... really like my ACOGs and Accupoints but have yet to own a Triangle on a post model accupoint.  I have a couple of the center dot / mildot models and really like how they transition when going from sunny spots into the shadows, etc.  Im considering a TR24 model with the red triangle but an curious how bright the triangle is.  On my ACOGs I have made a rubber cover over the fiber tube that I flip forward for more illum.  When in the direct sun the red chevron gets too bright sometimes.  Is the TR24R the same, or is it more like the dot accupoints?

Example ... In mid day sun on the range shooting at red/blue/black/white steel from 50 to 300 yards ... will the red triangle be bright against all 4 colors?

For the upper im thinking of putting this on, a switchview lever TR24R seems to be the ticket.  Speed with no illum buttons or batteries, just BAC on target and go.
