New boy on the block here.Been looking around here for a bit and now i have a few questions. Just picked up a Howa Axiom .204 and now i'm needing glass for it. My son has the same rifle with a Mueller on it and we were shooting last night and i really had a hard time getting eye relief. I had to shorten up the stock to make everything work. the scope he has is the Mueller Tatical 16x25x44.I think i need to get the scope further back.So what do i have to do to get this done.I'm new to varmint shooting.Don't want to put a fortune in a scope.Any advise would be helpful. Thanks

What is your price range.  Budget will dictate the scopes we recommend that will be the best for your alotted price range.

Also what sort of varmits.  Coyotes will need more field of view than crows.  There is a lot of stuff in the 250 to 500 dollar range that can work for you if you do not need to many bells and whistles.  The smaller the varmit then the clearer the glass you need, not just magnification.

$200-$500 range mostly will be shooting mostly groundhogs and crows. I've never delt with center fire before so i'm pretty much open for any suggestions'I built a custom ruger 10/22 last year and i'm running a Mueller 4.5x14x40 on it i i really like it alot.Friends who look through it are amased at it's clairity for a low $ scope.
