I have a vintage Weaver V9W with a cloudy rear focus lens and have a good rear forcus lens on another V9W scope that has damage to the front AO ring.  How hard/easy is it to remove & replace the focus ring on a variable Weaver scope?  I know its simple on the fixed focal length scopes but am not familiar with the variables.

thanks

How do you plan to refill the nitrogen? I would let an expert do it.

Very few of my scopes have any nitrogen left inside so I'm not too concerned with refilling them.  I have several vintage Weaver scopes that aren't worth much and don't work or are cloudy.
