I've had a love affair with spyderco knives for a long time.  I've been after a Spyderco DODO for a while as well but everytime I would find one I wanted on ebay or a forum I'd either be a day late or someone would want it way more than me and drive the price crazy high.  Well a few weeks ago Spyderco did a "spirit run" on them, 1000 of them were made again and released to the dealers.  I quickly found a place that had 2 left from the 4 he recieved.  I ordered the last 2.  They were at an unbelievably low price too.  Come to find out they could only locate 1 in the store, me thinks someone had pulled one from inventory for themselves probably.  Anyway here it is.  Its got a great feel to it and  I am please with it.

Never heard of it but I do like it.  That looks like it would be a handy knife to have.

My sentiments exactly. Did you get it online or in a store in NC?

Have had my Dodo for a few years now, in my pocket right now.  Great tool - small and light but that blade is a beast for work.  Really like the lock up mechanism, don't know why other makers don't use it more often. Interesting handle colour, originally was available in black or blue, mine has the blue handle.  Assume your blade is S30V too?

Got it online CT.  They are selling for twice what people paid for them on Ebay now.  Crazy

Same S30V Dogger,  the handle is my only gripe, wish it was more "bland"

Well your orange handle is distinctive and will identify your knife as a special run.  May make it more valuable in the future.
