I would suggest the 3-9 SS over both those scopes. I know it is more expensive, but you also get a lot more for your money. Such as a FFP reticle, which means the mils are correct now matter what power the scope is on. And you get matching mil-adjusted turrets. This means, since your reticle and turrets match, you can use your reticle to read the target for quick follow up shots. While I don't own any of the scopes mentioned, I have shot with the SS and the Lueppy at the range. The glass in the SS was better. And the newer models with the mil-quad reticle, make breaking-down the reticle into .1's even easier... Just about perfect for a DM type AR, IMHO.
