A list of pro's and con's --- taken from a number of reviews read
Anyone have input to of which one is the "one"???

The above are all quotes from "paper punching" ar forums. Nice to hear from some hunting experience too before I decide.

I would suggest the 3-9 SS over both those scopes. I know it is more expensive, but you also get a lot more for your money. Such as a FFP reticle, which means the mils are correct now matter what power the scope is on. And you get matching mil-adjusted turrets. This means, since your reticle and turrets match, you can use your reticle to read the target for quick follow up shots. While I don't own any of the scopes mentioned, I have shot with the SS and the Lueppy at the range. The glass in the SS was better. And the newer models with the mil-quad reticle, make breaking-down the reticle into .1's even easier... Just about perfect for a DM type AR, IMHO. -

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
