Hello, New to the board but not new to hunting (second post actually)..

Would like to hear about the New Prostaff with the figure turrets.

I have the Prostaff with the coin adjustment slot and was thinking about replacing it with the new one and was wondering if the turrets are repeatable , etc

Also have a Monarch UCC 3-9x40 and was wondering how this might compare to the new Monarch’s ?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

EAGLE out!

I like the new Monarch much better than the UCC. The turrets work like a short target turret.

I cannot say much about the monarch because I havnt used one however I just put a new prostaff on a rem sps tactical 308 in 4-12x40 and I am impressed with it. The brightness and clarity is better if not equal to my vx 2 leupold. The turrents worked well. I took it out to 300yrds and then back to my 100 yrd zero which was dead nuts on. I do not think this scope will hold up to a ton of turrent twisting like a super sniper but will make a fun hunting scope that i can play with ringing steel every once in awhile. I would suggest to nikon that they put a mildot ret in it and it would be a complete workn man scope!!! The scope has seen about 60 rounds and you all will be the first to know if i have any touble with it.          Selsor
