This stems from a trip to the range where a "ex military" from un-mentioned branch, was going to "teach" someone "how to" shoot and it ended up in a "too much mirage" and a little "too windy".

Last time I checked you MUST be able to PERFORM in all conditions, no excuses. 

I always leave before I have to be subjected to this ignorance, this time I had to stay to check a new load for key-hole-ing too close to sound barrier causing an instability...

I wish I would have left...

I kept my mouth shut and packed up quietly and drove off thinking another person who is

I don't claim to to perform well under those conditions, but unless I need to zero a rifle, I've been trying to get out in the crappiest conditions possible. The last three times at the range were pretty uncomfortable, but helpful. Sounds like you ran into a member of the 99th Batallion 666th Unarmored Crossdressers Auxiliary Reserve, motto: "Be all you can wanna be"

Mirage was minimal at worst hardly present wind was 8-10mph the range was 200yrds, maybe 10mph...

200 yd with a 10 mph full crosswind could create problems with a airsoft, Maybe even with .22 shorts. Hippie
