I recently bought an SWFA SS 1-4x24 HD rifle scope, the version with illuminated donut reticle and exposed turrets.  I've only been using it a short while, but I so far like the rifle scope.

Now I am starting to shop for a long eye relief scope and quickly realized that I'd like that same scope with a long eye relief.

So SWFA, can we please get a long eye relief version of that for use on handguns?

.

Ok, but...

What current production pistol scopes offer optics quality and features fully as good as SWFA's SS HD rifle scopes ?

Thanks.  If others take positive interest, maybe SWFA will take positive interest.

Oh I'm not downing you I just am pointing out there are scopes that everyone wants SWFA to make in their SS line because we all know they are THAT GOOD.  I'm still waiting for a midpower (14X) variable to come out.

I think its a good idea but I would prefer to see models be 1.5-6 rather than 1 to 4x even the rifle scope would be of far more interes to me if it went 1.5-6X and a long eye relief pistol or scout rifle scope that had tactical knobs would be way cool  I'd definately want one on my SOCOM

1.5-6x would  be good

I'd buy either 1-4x or 1.5-6x, with HD optics and extended eye relief suitable for handgun use.

Would the higher power cause problems with the eye relief?

Bingo on the variable-power scout scope.  A 1.5-6x FFP with illuminate reticle would be the perfect optic for the modern Scout or even an AR with solid railed handguard.

Urimaginaryfrnd:

Can you post a pic or explain the hold you use with the contender and the normal eye relief scope?

What round are you firing in that thing?
