WidowMaker.

We have been fortunate in our move from Washington to Louisiana for not having anything but the truck issue happen, but moving took a massive pay cut with almost not cost of living change. The realtors around here have set the prices of houses right at the BAH (basic allowance for housing) rates, and anything cheap here is in absolutely horrid condition. Wife sold her car, not for much, but enough to set aside for a new one. WidowMaker might be getting sold for that reason alone, to finish paying off debt, and putting more money towards her new car, because we can't make it with only one, as crazy as my hours are. If you have any ideas what I could get for her, reply to this post. I have a price in mind, but I'd like to see what ya'll think she is worth.

Sad times...

Remington Model 700 Sendero SF in .300 win mag w/ Limbsaver and H-S Precision Sand colored stock (pics in post your rigs here). Stainless swivel studs.

Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16X50 Mil-Dot with Butler Creek flip-ups. Roughly 60 rounds with it mounted.

400 rounds overall fired through it.

Harris 25-S series bi-pods.

sorry to hear of the hard times man.  I'd think that $1500 for the package should move it fairly quick.  You can always fill out the trade in form on Samplist.com and get a rough trade in value for it.  Would give you a bottom dollar figure to accept for it as well.  Can't hurt to get a quote

Wouldnt be the first people to take advantage of the soldiers, setting up against the BAH.  Probably lots of car lots with only 20 percent interest as well.

Best of luck, keep your head high, things will work out.

Hang in there bro, I've been there before too.

I will tell you, when I was there and sold a firearm to make ends meet, I've regretted the hell out of it. If there is anyway possible to raise the funds needed, hold on to your rifle. Sellers remorse is dead-ahead.

Keep you head up, you'll be fine.

Well, the wife and I did a budget of all the money and its looking like we will be okay without me selling it. Our budget over the next 12 months to include additional monies from her schooling, and we will be able to purchase something after the family trip to Florida. We are trying to budget for a family vacation, and a new vehicle in the same year, which is why we are tight. Thank you great gentleman for all the kind words, it never ceases to amaze me the caliber you individuals are. The wife says if your ever in central LA, she will cook a home-cooked meal, and provide a room for any of you guys!

Really, I appreciate the concern guys.

Planning for a family vacation and buying a car in the same year is not recommended. Let that be known, haha. Looking at the budget though, it looks like I might be able to add something to the arms room at the very end of this year, which excites me. Just getting over that hump for the double whammy is sucking right now.

we do but we do very similar things.  where as a bank looks out for making money we look at whats best for our members.  That and we show zero profit vs the bank showign dividends to shareholders
