I am gonna put together a SPSS 308 with a stainless steal barrell, the scope is gonna be a Nightforce 5.5 x 22 x 56 or possibly 5.5 x 22 x 50 depending on availability and pricing, I would like to use Badger xtreme rings, the ones with the three screws and a 20 MOA Badger base, I dont have a place anywhere close by i can go and check and compare sizes so will need to order over the net I wanna make sure i get the right ring height for the scope, I did some looking around and i think i would need a medium or standard, but when I see people talk they say they are using lows or even highs etc. So for the 2 scopes i got listed could someone please tell me the correct heights for both, thnx in advance

Usually medium rings will accommodate scopes up 50mm and anything larger requires high rings.  Note this isn't set in concrete, just an estimated guideline.
