I purchased a vintage Weaver 2.5-8x40, externally adjusted variable (like an Unertl) rifle scope to mount on my pre-64 Model 70 that I inherited from my Dad.  Does El Paso still refurbish vintage Weaver scopes?  If not them, are there others who could refurbish it?  Nothing major is wrong, I just wanted someone to go through it and clean it up, lubricate the adjustments…etc.

Thanks!

I have never used them but they are supposed to work on vintage scopes.

Weaver itself would no longer service your scope. They've been through multiple owners since the original Weaver corporation had a facility in El Paso, so the institutional knowledge to work on externally adjustable scopes is probably long gone.

Google "Ironsight,Inc".
They repair scopes. Their backlog is very, very long apparently, so you may have to wait awhile.
