Hello everyone -

Beside the price, what is the difference between the Aimpoint Comp C3 and the ML3?  If they have the same specs, are both waterproof and both have the same battery life, why would someone pay one hundred dollars more for the ML3?

Thanks in advance

SW

Having never used a C3, but a big fan of the M2's, I would say the extra $100 is for the "Tactical factor"

I'm sure the ML3 is more rugged and has a high strength aluminum housing too.

But like you say they seem pretty close, with the ML3 being shorter and more compact.

Let me be the first to welcome you to OT, Slim.

(As an aside, I'm a big fan of yours!!)

Yep cheaptrick is correct. The ML3 will be built tougher for military specifications. Harder anodized coating and submersible to a greater depth. The C3 is more of a civilian sight.
