Has anyone come across a formal review/comparison of

Zeiss 10x45 Victory RF Binos
vs.
Leica 10x42 Geovid HD

I've borrowed a pair of the Geovids before (not the newer HD), and they were absolutely fantastic glass.

I currently use the Leica 1200 LRF and a pair of Zeiss 10x32 Victory FL. I'm just interested in combining the two for hunting in south Texas and viewing long senderos.

The price difference between the two models is pretty substantial.
Why are the Zeiss so much more?  Are they worth it?

Thanks.

With this technology changing at a pretty brisk rate, I'd personally stick with a separate bino and RF.  That way I can upgrade as needed, but it's up to you to justify whether a RFbino is worth it.

They're are a few members here with the Leica unit, hopefully they'll give their perspective.
