Anybody own one of these scopes and what are your opinion(s) of them? Are these German/American hybrids?

I own a Minox Z5 4-20x50,I think it's an outstanding buy.Glass is Schott of Germany,& made in the USA,Ilya did a very good review on the smaller scope,I'm hoping he will get around to the Z5's.I think it is overall a better all around scope then my conquest & hands down better then my Bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16.Their customer service is outstanding & it comes with a very good warrenty.Hope this helps.

Minox will be introducing some additional configurations, hopefully this year.

I plan on doing a review of one of those.

Hopefully a #4 reticle is first on the list of additional features.

I have a ZA-5 Minox 2-10x42 scope that I have had mounted and been shooting for about 2 months now.  I have not hunted with the scope yet but am strting to form some impressions.

The 4+ inch eye relief is nice to have, especially if you are going to mount theis scope on a hard kicking rifle (i.e. my .340 Weatherby).  This scope has a very sharp image and high contrast the befits its use of Schott glass.  It is my understanding that this scope is assembled and tested in the US from imported (European) parts.  I do not have enough time on the sope yet at the rifle range to give the scope any rating besides being made of quality components.  I do wonder about how well these scopes will hold up because of the light weight of the scope but time will tell how it holds up.
