I am considering putting a weaver Grand Sam 6x20 on a .308 heavy barreled Ruger M77 that I will use to primarily target shoot on a 300 yard range.  I am also looking at the Bushnell 4200 4X16, which is just a few $$ more.  I the Bushnell a significant jump up in quality fand performance from the Weaver Grand Slam, or are the differences negligible?  The Rainguard coating is not a significant feature difference to me, because I will not be shooting this rifle in wet conditions.
