Awesome.  I haven't been on a good dove hunt in a LONG time.  Keep threatening to shoot the ones that hang out around my house eating up all the birdseed, but my wife and daughter have, so far, defended them...

Must be nice, our government decided for me that it is best not to shoot doves in Michigan, so I can't.

Ooooooo, next to deer hunting, doves are my favorite. It's a shame your in Ga. and not Ky. or Tenn.. Nobody plants the crops that draw in the doves around here like they used to. My wife won't let me shoot the doves at our feeder either.
What are you going to plant, millet, wheat, corn?

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

We use to live in Baltimore City near the railroad tracks that would take you past Calvert Whiskey Distillery. Back then (50's and 60's) the grain was hauled in open cars and would spill all along the tracks.  Talk about some dove and pigeon numbers! We hunted a section of tracks that ran between two wooded ridges for a 1/4mi or so.

I had the second best Dove shoot of my life last year in the panhandle of OK. It will be hard to keep me from going back this September. After 30 min of shooting Doves spent the rest of the day on the Pd's. Most of the places I hunted around Shelbyville, Tennessee years ago are now subdivisions. Change is coming. Urban sprawl will end before long if Obama has his way.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.
