Supposedly this was turned into a police department to be disposed of.  The owner claimed he was trying out some new loads and heard a loud bang and this is what was left.  I think I would have kept it and hung it on my reloading work bench as a daily reminder to count my blessings.

Looking at the metal in that gun it looks like cast metal, it makes me wonder if  someone tried to fire a round in one of those replica guns.
