Gentlemen

An old friend has a birthday coming up - I know what he needs - a fixed power scope on his bench rest rifle.  I want to give him a little surprise but know nothing about these scopes.

Can anyone recommend a fixed power scope (18 - 30x)  with target dot (or fine crosshairs .w dot). Price range of ca 100-250$??  It may be new or used scope, just something to get him started.

Any ideas?

Thanks
