Are any of the Leupold reticles capable of ranging a animal or object? Similar to the Ziess rapid Z reticles? Ive been on there web site but can find what I'm looking for. Thanks!!!!!

The mildot and TMR reticles were made for ranging.

the leo that can be used for ranging usually a 2 sets of numbers on the power ring, its called the BAS system, when an object is placed in the correct alignment of the reticle, and the magnification ring is turned until the animals just fit, the range can be read of the power ring.

will add that any stepped reticle can be used for ranging if one takes the time to measure a known ht, object against a known distance and "calibrate" the scope.
