Just a request for good deer hunting binoculars is pretty vague.  Mule Deer or Whitetail, archery in heavy brush or across the bean fields?  Do you pack it a lot, or hunt from stands?  When you hit $350 anymore, there really are not any bad binoculars, just some that may suit you better than others.  To save some money, look at the Hawke ED, or the ZEN ED.  At your limit here is the Leupold Gold Ring, Meopta Meostar, or the Vortex razor, all good binoculars.  Anything over $350 or so will pretty well clock the $100 junk you have had.  Today, even $100 will buy a good deer hunting binocular in the form of a Leupold Yosemite or maybe Nikon Action.

Look at the Pentax SP series.  I find them to be as good  (maybe better) than my Kahles that were priced in the range you're looking for.  The warranty is supposed to be top notch as well.  But I haven't had the opportunity to use it (and hope I do not have to).

For clarification, these bino's will be used for whitetail hunting, and glassing large fields...I  usually only hunt from stands...Will not have to carry them very far so weight is not an issue....thanks for the feedback so far, keep em coming !

I would go with the Meoptas. The others are all good binoculars, but in my experience the optics of Meoptas are superb, and they are also really, really tough. I know you don't plan on going on any rugged mountain hunts with 'em, but when climbing trees you never know....

For $300 less ($150 rebate) you could get the Vortex Razors:  http://swfa.com/Vortex-10x50-Razor-Binocular-P10829.aspx - http://swfa.com/Vortex-10x50-Razor-Binocular-P10829.aspx . Of all the sub-$1000 glass I looked through last year, I only liked the Pentax EDs better. Having dealt with a sister company of Vortex, I think their customer service would be top-notch if you ever had a problem.

Vortex razors are top notch, they should be excellent for your application.
