I notice that weaver describes one of their features in some of their A/O scopes, for example in the Grand Slam line, as "offset parallax indicator".Can anyone tell me what this means exactly? Even Weaver's website doesn't seem to explain it anywhere (or I couldn't find it). Thanks!

If you can see the a/o on this scope you will see where it is marked it's kinda hard to see but where the numbers are they are marked with indicators and that is the offset parallax indicator.

Model 849995, 6x40mm AO, Black Satin

To further clarify what Stephanie has said.  Notice where the indicator dot is for the power knob (on the side instead of the top), the A/O indicator dot is in the same location (did not come out in this low res. image).  All Grand Slams are done this way to keep you from having to raise up off the rifle to see the settings.
