I've been looking for a scope for a new CZ 527 Carbine I've got ordered.  On one of the CZ forums I saw someone reference a Weaver V7 2-7x32.  Is this just an older version of the Weaver Classic V Series or is it a rimfire scope?  I have not been able to find much info on it.  Is it a good scope?

  Well,Weaver made a V7 when they were steel tubed scopes and they're making  them in both a rimfire and centerfire version now:
