Hi,

Im using a laser pointer (ALS Applied Laser Systems) to help me calculate distances.

I have my Mildot scope zeroed at 55 yards and also my laser, they join at he same distance. If the laser is above it means the target is farher than 55yds, if its below it means its closer.

The more above/below the laser is from the Mildot reticle tells you aproximated how far/close the target is, measuring the Mildots the laser is raising or lowering can help you to estimate distances.

I hope it helps!!

How far can you see the laser before it gets so large that it covers the whole target?
