Are you talking about the Browning take down 22 that has a tube mag in the butt stock? If so the stainless is a little over 700 and the blue is a little over 500. NEW

I had a BAR 22 years ago, when it first came out.  It was a good looking rifle that felt good in the hands and had a substantial, solid feel to it.  The receiver looked just like a scaled down version of its big brother, the centerfire BAR.  The only problem with it was mine jammed so often, it was basically unusable.  It was a shame too, because it had all the earmarks of quality, with great fit and finish.

I already have a SA .22 and a BLR MK II and would like to get all the .22's they made.  Although, I'm not quite sure about the "T" bolt.  Had a chance to get the BAR .22 a few yrs back and passed on it.  Seems like it was around $300.  If the price for the two at a local retailer is legit, I'll be kicking myself for a long time for not getting the $300 one!

BTW, they both have these neat little 4x Redfields on them.  They are really small, maybe 7/8".  The guy at the store say those little guys are fetching a pretty good price in their own right.  Anybody know anything about these scopes?
