has anyone purchases this scope and what were your thoughts on it. i would like to purchases one for a 45-70 traditions tip up rifle for primitive weapons hunt for deer. will it hold up to the recoil AND HOW ARE THE AMBER COATED OPTICS AND IR RECTICLE IN YOUR OPINION

Be sure to check your regulations on optics use during primitive weapon season .....IMO...that scope is way to large for that gun and over powered too say the least you might want to stay with a 2x7x 36.....4x fixed would be a good choice....remember primitive means just that..

Agreed---WAY to much scope ..if you want a Bushnell trophy --try the 1.5-6 IR
