I am looking at a new pair of Zeiss 7x42 Victory FL binoculars, I am getting older and my hands are not real steady and most deer move before sunrise and right after sunset so low light is when I see most game, during the day I am hunting cut overs and need a wide field of view. most shots are 300 yards or less. Would these work for me.

Thanks

Those binos would be excellent. My 7x42 Zeiss are before the Victory models came out and they are outstanding for all day glassing at any range and any light.
I have been hunting where fellows with 20x Leo spotters did not have the glass quality to discern what deer we were looking at up draws that were well over 400 yards. The Zeiss binoculars were much better, the contrast and resolution really made the difference.
You have picked a winner, for sure.

Absolutely.  The Victory FL is one of the finest roof prism binoculars in the world.  You'd be very hard-pressed to find a binocular offering better light transmission.  You will sacrifice a bit of detail resolution with a 7X vs. 8 or 10X, but the 6mm exit pupil offered by the 7X42 would likely provide as much light as your eyes can use and will also provide very relaxed viewing.  7X will also make hand tremors less noticeable than 8X and especially 10X.

Tahqua,
You have always steered me in the right direction, I purchased the Kahles 1.5x6x42 C you recommended to me last year for low light and it has worked out great. I have Monarch atb 8x42 now and my eyes get tired by the end of the day and my hand tremors do not allow me to get a steady view.

The bonus being you can glass all day with excellent binoculars and bring the scope on target with no problem compared to the binos. The 7x42 will be an outstanding glass.
Your Kahles deserves it.
Thanks for the comments.

the FL 7x42 is THE best binocular for low light hunting, and one of the best binoculars ever made. I did put my money where my mouth is. They will allow you to hold them steady, because of their full size your hands will fit comfortably on the barrels. Need i say more?

Anweis, I looked at a post you made about the Zeiss and low light, I just purchased them a few hours ago, I purchased them from my local gun shop, they were a demo model that they used to let customers look through only, and they told me only 1 person has looked through them because of the price, they are a year old and they are like brand new, you would never know they had been out of the box, I gave them a thousand even for them. I think I got a good deal.
Thanks everyone for your help.

My thoughts, I went their just to look at them, see what they felt like in my hands and the owner offered me them for a thousand and I could not turn it down. I had all intentions to buy from SWFA as I have purchased all my scopes and bino's from SWFA. Forgive me Chris.

Yep, I am very pleased with mine.  Very comfortable to glass for hours.  Excellent low light.  I had 2 pay $1300 for mine as a show demo new with everything unopened in box.  So yes 1K is great.  Is that the model with the LotoTec?

The pair I purchased have the LotuTec. I went hunting this weekend and all I can say is WOW! What a pair of bino's, nothing I have used is this good. My buddy has swaro el's and these are much better to my eyes and his. Thanks everyone
