At some point someone had to be the first one to try this, can you imagine that being you?  I panic on the parachute ride at Six Flags.

I take it you are not going on the yearly sky diving trip with us this year? I still have some spots open.

Ahh I see. I took a buddy last year that has never been in a plane in his life. He was pumped up about it untill we hit 14,000 feet and he turned pale white really fast. He jumped with out us pushing him out and did really well with it.Well other than him yacking about 3 minutes after we touched down. I guess a 8 minute ride straight down from 15,500 will do that to you. Its a rush you will never forget.

I went over the statistics of it before I jumped my first time. There is around 60 people a year that dies while jumping around the world. The weekend before I jumped an instructor died at the place I jumped by acting stupid and trying to catch another shoot after it was cut away for the secondary shoot to open by another jumper. he got tangled up in it and bounced. So the statistics was in my favor on that jump. There have not been 2 people killed from the same place in the same year in Ga.

I have GOT TO try that...

The French (yea, the French) have developed a glider suit for Special Forces which allows a drop from 30000ft, with FULL gear, with 120 mile glide radius.  Would LOVE to get my hands on one of those.

All except for the part that it's FRENCH.

Probably only comes in lavender and baby blue.

Oh, and I believe "full gear" for the Frenchies consists of a white flag and a que card with "I surrender" written in multiple languages.

C'mon guys, the French have some pretty good Special Ops, even if they never use them.  Gear bag was stated at 110lbs (including weapon).
Flyer does a "stand up" landing, no parachute.
