Hi everyone! I'm new to OT, but would like to seek advice from the veterans.

I'm on the market for a Nikon Monarch 4-16 or Bushnell 4200 equivalent. By googling I found xxxxxxxxxxx offer those scopes at significant discount (Monarch for about 370) coompared with other offers on the net. I'm a bit concerned whether those are grey markat items, but they said they offer full manufacturer waranty (I asked about USA waranty, they didn't mention USA in the reply).

Any catch there? Too good to be true? Any one with experience with this vendor?

Thanks for any opinions.

Edited due to competitor being hotlinked.

Hello raymn!!  The SWFA website that you are on sells scopes!  They are the host of this website.  Shocked They are the largest scope dealer in America.  They will beat any legitimate price anywhere else that you can find!! .....they have a 110% Guarantee!!  If you can find it cheaper, they will sell you the same scope for the same price, plus another 10% off of that! Bandito

Take your cursor and go up to the top of this page and click on the box that says Bushnell ( or whatever----it changes all the time---) and it will take you out front to the main page and then you can click on "riflescopes" and look at all the brands that they carry!  They will beat any legitimate price that you can find elsewhere!  And besides the factory warranty, the fellows at SWFA will deal with you if you decide you don't like the product for some reason.

Find out what we sell those two scopes for...........Wink

Now on to the question at hand. I can't speak for or against said competitor. (although I don't trust any online dealer that isn't a common name with a reputation) I will speak for SWFA. They are the BEST group of people that you could hope to deal with. They will and always do bend over backwards to make a sale. Read their low price guarantee. They do not sell inferior (counterfeit) products. All refurbs that are sold are done so with the buyer being made fully aware that it is so. If you want a bargain use the sample list.

Thanks Ed and Cyborg for the pointers, I didn't mean to advertise on behalf of anyone but to seek advice as a potential buyer. I'll check out SWFA offerings. Thanks again!
