Burris Short Mag and Compact

Hi I have both of the above and looking at the new catalouge cannot find them but I see the Timberline which looks the same yet appears to be priced alot cheaper. Can anyone tell me if they are infact the same but just renamed with a price drop or are there some differences.

As far as I know, the Compact and Short Mag were pretty much the same thing.  They were made in the USA.
The Timberline is also pretty much the same thing, but has probably been redesigned a bit, and is made overseas, probably in the Phillipines.

I always thought looking at the scopes and the spec sheets that they were the same near enough.

Thanks for the input about the Philipinnes I suppose this would reflect the price drop. Wonder if there is any loss of quality.

Anyone know if the 6x HBR is being made in the Philipinnes

The catalog I have says the '6X HBR II' is made in the good old U.S. of A.
