Hey..anybody know what may be the super sniper equivalent of a spotter.  Valuewise the ss cannot be beat.
 
Looking for a spotter for range work out to 200 yards.

Take a look at the nikon fieldscopes, pentax, bushnell, The nikon fieldscope III without ed glass can be found at deep discounts around the net. In your situation I would recommend the fieldscope III non ed with the fixed 30x eyepiece or one of the zoom eyepieces. ED glass is great if using the scope to take pics, or jsut want the absolute best, but not necessary for your particular application.

I bought a Konus 20-60x80mm and am pleased.  $230 range.  It doesn't have the eye relief of a Kowa.  Comes with a decent tripod and camera T piece plus cheap but functional case.  A 100 mm costs about $80 more.  Celestron is another one to consider.
