I hear if your anti-McCain, A vote for Huckabee would be a wasted vote for Romney, since Huckabee's not a likely candidate.  Although, I'm not sure Romney's view on gun control.  Any thought's...

I don't particularly care for those types of polls, because your answer depends largely on how you interpret the question and how you rank "importance."  In other words, if you are against something very strongly, does that mean it's also very important or not important, i.e. is your opposition to the issue itself "very important" or is the issue "not important" because you don't support it?  Plus, I know for a fact some of the candidates answers on some of these questions aren't accurate, because, especially in the case of McCain, you can look at his history and see where he really stands on issues by his past actions, which don't line up with what this poll says he stands for.

The only 2 Republican candidates that have a chance of getting the nomination at this point are Romney and McCain.  Between those two, Romney is the most conservative.  McCain is a Republican in name only (see McCain-Finegold, McCain-Kennedy, and McCain-Lieberman bills).  Therefore, regardless of how you feel about Huckaby, a vote for him at this point is a vote for McCain.  On gun issues, neither is 100% where I'd like for them to be, but both say they have a pro individual rights stance on the 2nd Amendment.

Everyone of these I have ever done has put me right on track with Ron Paul.  He is the man, to bad he can't win.

I'm still hoping for everyone to drop out leaving only Duncan Hunter.
