Just like the soldier who shot and killed bin laden - he did all the dirty work and Obama parades around taking all the credit.

EDIT: Made links active for Rustic, who needs to learn how to do it himself.

Rustic,
If your computer is not setup to hotlink web addresses, you can make them "hot" by simply typing

"[url(closing bracket)" before the web address, then followed by "(opening bracket)/url]" after the web address.

Closing bracket = ]
Opening bracket = [

If I actually put the brackets where the parenthesis are, it would try to make whatever I typed in between a link, so I couldn't actually type it out for you.

The way you post your links, someone has to copy the links and then paste into a new browser window in order to read them. This is somewhat of a pain, so many people may not get the point you're trying to make because they don't want to open a new browser window and navigate off the site.

Here, I made the instructions above into a picture, so the forum software wouldn't see it as text and try to make a hotlink...

^ do that. Substitute the entire web address you're trying to post for the words "web address" above and... poof... your link suddenly becomes an active hotlink once you hit "post reply."

Hey Ted?!?!?

I know several people here have had issues with posting hot links.  Seems most revs of Windows Explorer will post hot links okay but Firefox won't.  Sometimes Windows will stop posting them hot links as well.  I also think something suttle is going on with the OT edit window casue sometimes I have to add a blank space after a hot link before it will be recognized by explorere as a hot link.
I know Ed and Craig were having problems a couple of months ago.  I think Ed gave up on Explorer and is using Firefox now.  I know nothing about Firefox, so don't know if there are settings somewhere that control / configure that way it deals with hot links...

I'm using Firefox exclusively on both Windows and Mac 'puters and I have no problem with hot-links on either by using the method described above. I don't know about other browsers, but I would think the method described above is universal regardless of your operating system or browser. Regardless of what method we use to enter text in our posts, it's the forum software that determines how text functions are handled once we press "post reply."

Others with much more knowledge on this topic than me will likely chime in soon.

Rush really is spot on.  That has always been one of the things that I cannot stand about Obama.  He is always going all over the country trying to con everyone into his schemes.  He is now doing that for gun control.  The amount of tax payer money that he wastes on this crap has got to be staggering.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

That is why I say there is NO WAY out of this. The nanny state is the new norm. With most of the country mostly depending on federal government for their life style. That way they don't have to live outside their comfort zone.
It looks like most of the country will vote for the easy way not the right way.
The people pulling Obama's puppet strings know this - they love it when a plan comes together, the country is broke... we have done run out of other people's money.
