hello to all, I found this website while shopping for a scope,lots of great info here. I have a t\c encore muzzleloader,and 300 win mag. My question is how much trouble will I have with my scopes when I change from barrel to barrel as far as still being sighted in. thanks for the help

It all depends on how you set the system up. I have multiple encore barrels and each has its dedicated scope so when you put the barrel on the scope is zeroed.  If alternatively you have only one scope and use a common base and quick detach rings like Warne you will find that time on the range using and switching the barrels and scope will require that you readjust the scope after placing it on the other barrel.  Since the barrel A should always be about the same give or take an inch take notes  how much you have to adjust the scope when switching from barrel A to B. If A to B takes an adjustment of say 4moa up and 2 moa left  then B to A  should be the reverse  4 moa down and 2 moa right. This isn't perfect but it will get you close.

thanks for the input, each barrel has its own scope nikon omega on the muzzl., and a leup.4.5-14 40mm with a b/c ret.

I don't believe you will have any trouble as long as you don't do anything crazy to the barrel...... like drop it or run over it..... although I have heard of this happening without the scope losing zero.
