Just wanted to check in here and see if anyone has any info/literature/ads on the PHROBIS scopes from the mid to late 80's. Mine is the 6X42[rare] with mildot reticle.
What I also need to know is this model meant to have an adjustable parallax ring in front of the eyepiece as on the SS[family resemblance and history suggests so]?
If this is indeed a parallax adj. ring [mine is not marked as so] , mine seems to be firmly jammed HARD against the eyepiece ring!!! Any sugestions on freeing it up without damaging anything??
Thanks for any info

Thanks guys
Yep, Phrobis and SS are/were the same factory in Japan.
The stuff over on the Hide are probably my posts!
Still need to confirm that both the eyepiece and the ring in front of it[parallax] are both MEANT to turn..... before I damage anything.
thx
