These people don't "walk among us"... they just kind of slither through the dark hiding places trying to find some way to bring others down to their low level.  Unfortunately, there appears to be more and more of them.

Chris, SWFA is among the best organizations I have dealt with, and I deal with a lot... that is because of you and the people you have with you.  This guy is a small, petty, insignificant worm, looking for his "15 minutes".  We've already nearly wasted that much time...
I don't frequent other sites, so I seldom ever see anything like this.  The internet is a double edged sword... it can also be used to diminish those who seek to cause harm...  These kinds of assaults usually die from their own lack of "weight".
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

I only know of a few companies that have customer service close to or as good as SWFA.  I have seen SWFA bend over backwards for customers even when it isn't their problem.

That guy sure whined a lot over nothing.  I have ordered stuff from other companies that got here five days after they promised it.  Never had anything late from SWFA yet.  Best CS I know of, and most companies should be modeling their CS after SWFA.

We run into the same thing in our business. The customer is NOT always right, but he is still the customer. We try like crazy to make everybody happy, but you can't always please everybody. Chris, every dealing I've had with SWFA has been great. If I sent in an appraisal and it didn't meet my criteria, I just move on...NBD. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Chris, I'm pissed at you guys because you don't employ a courier to deliver stuff to me same day, at no additional cost to me, so I don't have to leave work a bit early to drive over to your place.  How inconsiderate of you!  I expect a gas reimbursement for all the times I've bought stuff from you on-site!

I don't know how we put up with such outstanding customer service.  This is outrageous, I say we fight fight fight and bring back sh*tty frustrating customer service,  ARE YOU LISTENING CHRIS. We demand 20 minute on hold time that leads to the call dropping and and we want more shipping cost and while your at it, you need to mark up those prices and throw in some loss leader products AND we want imposter products YEAH especially that last one!!
IF YOU DON'T FIX THIS, we're taking our business to someone who will lie cheat and steal from us.!

It's easy to tell Chris not to let himself get bothered but where would SWFA's CS be if he didn't take it personally?
Chris full well knows that with Customers .....

Your only as good as your last contact.
Customers will remember a preceived bad experience 10 times longer than a good one.

It is a hard fought battle to maintain the excellent CS that SWFA has....it is even harder to maintain the reputation of having excellent CS and neither come cheap!

Chris and the entire SWFA.... I applaud your efforts and keep up the good work!

Have told a few people when they come in constantly bitching and whining about work, how dumb their boss is, etc.  "Its a free country.  If you think you can do better, I'll help you setup your own business".  It is far easier to complain than to work hard.  Rock on Chris.

I just read through ARFCOM thread.  Funny.

Chris, how about this: I don't shave for a few days, you give me the address of that guy, and I show up on his doorstep wearing a SWFA t-shirt, with my best russian accent, a roll of duct tape and a soldering iron.

I bet I can re-adjust his views on customer service in no time at all.

Agree Dogger.  Friend of mine did repo work for the bank years ago.  He would wear a utility belt with a bottle of baby oil and a can of whip cream in it.  He said that if the people he had to get stuff from thought he was crazy, he got a lot less flak and were a lot more compliant.

I do not think that you are well familiar with a myriad of application that a soldering iron has in the business of changing public opinion... one person at a time.

I have enough bad ideas.  I was alluding too when people see something that can be used on/against them, they can come up with enough bad ideas on their own that you wouldn't even have to use it.  Fear can be a great motivator.

I'm less than infatuated with the customer service I have received thus far.  To tally it up, I placed my original order with them on the 7th of January, today is the 8th of Feb and I still don't have any merchandise.  While it may not be entirely swfa I think they have been less than par.

After original item I ordered was sent back for being defective, it took them a week to process this return.  My item arrived back at swfa Tuesday the 25th of January...  Feb. 1st they got the second replacement order put together.  Order is supposed to be delivered today, however the last known location was mesquite Tx, on the 4th.  It says it departed, but UPS have no clue where its at.   So I call customer service at swfa and they tell me to wait until at least thursday.  This waiting game is getting old.....................................................  I already missed a match shoot at the college because of this and now it looks as if I will surely miss another.  One more missed match and I'm disqualified from participating in any future competitions.  So at this point it looks like I'm going to have to go spend more of the few $ I have and get a scope elsewhere or I get the boot.

So while I'm not totally peeved, I'm disappointed in my experience with swfa.
