Hello All, I have a Pentax Pioneer 4x14, as I understand it this is the same as the Burris FF 2. I would like your input on a concern I have with this scope. The ocular eye piece, which is also the power adjustment ring, wobbles. This movement of the eye piece results in movement of the cross hairs.  I first notice this while investigating why I was getting larger groups and a routine bullet pattern instead of the routine tight groups the rifle is capable of. (I have shot the rifle with other scopes installed. It is a very accurate rifle.) This scope was bought new and installed on a .243 early in 2007. It has endured less than 150 shots. I had sent the scope in for warranty work and just received it yesterday. It took 6 weeks. I included a detailed letter explaining the issue. Upon receiving the scope I check the scope and they did not address the problem. I called customer service and talked with a courteous tech rep. She had no answer why the problem was not fixed. She stated I could return it a second time for repairs. She did state there would be no charge for return shipping or the usual $19.95 handling charge. This is not giving me a good feeling about this line of scopes or their customer service. I would suggest checking any Pioneers or FF2 for wobble and proceeding cautiously. Wink

I returned a 4.5-14x42 FFII this summer.  I received a brand new one in return in about 2 weeks or so.  I was very pleased with the level of service I received
