I don't really have any "experience" with one, but have played a bit with one. Nothing struck as being bad or unacceptable about it. I like Pentax scopes. They are better than the price. I have a 4x Gameseeker on my .458 WinMag that I took off my .458 Lott. I like the precision plex reticle. A little slim on adjustment range and some people don't like the eye relief, but mine has been fine on the .458's. On 30-06... no problems at all, I would think.

Have the Gameseeker II in 4-16. Really not to bad of a scope, wish it had pa but it really not that bad without it at 50yds and beyond. Serviceable for a lower priced scope. Sad part is the glass is better than my Nikon Monarch.

We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, and cut it with a chainsaw.
