I ended up on the Pecar/Berlin website and they say they are the smallest scope manufacturer

in Germany. Has anyone had any experience with these scopes?  I can't find any U.S. dealers or other information.

The site was interesting, but finding info has been tough.

I think I have narrowed my choices of scopes to Kahles 4x12x52 CL with Multizero,

Kahles 4x12x50 KX, or if they show up on the Sample List a  Kahles 3x12x56C or S&B 8x56.

Will be putting it on a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless 7mm-08 Rem for low light deer hunting in the southeast.

I have a 3x10x50 Kahles Multizero on a 30.06 that is absolutely great and surprisingly easy to use.

My experience with scopes is limited, but I have learned a great deal from this forum.

I can't comment on the Pecar.
I have a Kahles 2.2-9x42 and it is an excellent scope. It is crystal clear, very bright and tough. You might gain some optically with Zeiss, Swaro and S&B but Kahles are a steal for what you pay. They have a very good reputation for durability.

Pecar has made fine scopes for years. I have a 4-10 on a barely postwar M 70 257R. the scope & rifle have been
together since new and work fine. I woul;d not hesitate to buy a Pecar.

One of the first European scopes I ever owned is a Pecar 4x32 with 26mm tube. It is about 30 years old and still has excellent optics.Smile I would buy it if the price is to your liking. Just don't forget - US Customs adds another 14.9% to the purchase price not to mention the EURO is about $1.34 .
