I am an American Sailor stationed overseas.  I just went to a "moment of silence" quarters (what the Navy calls formation) for what was the beginning of World War II.

It's amazing to think that we live in a world where terror is tolerated to any extent.  More than 50 years ago we all (I mean every first world nation in the world) were at war.  Obviously there were different sides to that and different reasons our parent nations chose the sides they did.

In the 1940's we had no problems coming together to defeat wrong doers.  Why can't we do it today?  I have been on 4 tours to Iraq and 1 to Afganistan.  I will go anyday of the week, its my job and I swore to do it, so I will.  I just want some more help.

KOKDYER.... Thank you and God Bless you and your family. I wish the world and the liberals at home had the same attitude that you have . I hope that this will all come to an end soon, but I doubt it will. Keep your head down, and be careful.

From my Red, White, and Blue blooded heart, THANK YOU

Z-28

You're a good man, thank you.  I too have been overseas.  Funny thing is though after spending considerable time in the EU, I think the US is the only truley 1st world nation.  I believe in America and her causes.  God bless the USA!   It is my belief that this will resolve itself one day, maybe the news media and other liberals will never let truth be told, but right is right....truth is truth and being so is permanent.   Iraq is guilty of killing an estimated  million or so people. Germany never attacked the US either , but was guilty of the same type of atrocity.  This Nation, established by the providence of the Almighty, will be blessed and continue to flourish as long as He is not forgetten and we continue to spread freadom and sacrifice for our fellow men.  Would I trade one American Life for an Iraqi one.......never.....but I don't see us all as brothers and sisters as He does.  Thank you for your service and commitment to honor your oath, you will be blessed and are deserving of an ever endebted Nation's gratitude and respect.  It is you and your commrades who give us the rights we enjoy and the opportunities we prosper from.  May return home soon.

Your fellow brother in Arms.

Go back in time to 1941 as you take the pearl harbor tours. Dressed in period World War II air corps attire, your personal tour guide will provide you with historical facts leading up to the war and answer any questions you have about this historic day. Included in the tour is the chance to listen to a recording of the live broadcast where President Roosevelt gave his famous A Day That Will Live in Infamy speech. Once you arrive at Pearl Harbor you will watch a 22 minute documentary film with actual footage of the enemy attack.
