Hi guys, I'm new here. I have a Leatherwood M1000, 2.5X10X44. I have the instructions that came with it but I have a couple of questions, and I need a link if anyone has one of the manual online, with the Chart of trajectory for the cam settings.

So, here's the deal. I've got this mounted on an AR Performance 6.8 AR 15. that I've been handloading for. The sight height is about 2.6 inches above bore.

Question 1. In the list of trajectories, what is the optics height that those figures are arrived at ? Is it 1.5, like it might be from a traditional hunting rifle?

Question 2. Does anyone have access to the charts in a form that I can use to IM a member of another forum, 68forums, for his help on a related topic regarding this scope?

I know the ballistics of all of my loads, I just need a couple of bits of info to set this up properly.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome. I could just scan the paper copy I have here, but I have to go to a lot of trouble hooking it up. The house was built in 1959, and I only have a few available outlets, so something has to be unplugged. Sorry to hear about the broken scoped. The one I have feels very solid to say the least, so I hope it's more strength than just bulk. So far I like the simplicity of operation once it's set up correctly. Much easier than ranging just using mildots, and then either doing the math, or using a mil dot master/calculator/or even a phone app like Strelock or Reticle Ranger. No looking away from your target to do the calculations or even use a laser rangefinder.

I had most of the mil calculations for whole dot spacings memorized for "Zombie" sized targets and torso targets, but anything else was tough for me.

Wolf 68,

For question 1)  Use 1.5"

For question number 2) If you'd like, send me an email at corbett@hi-luxoptics.com and I'll send you a .pdf copy of the M1000 manual.

Respectfully,

Corbett
