A new Panther Martin payed off big time for Bitterroot Spike with a whopper wild cutthroat:

We named this one "Skip" and released it back home.

Matt, nice pic wish I could have seen the whole smile. We are bringing out a new model with scented hooks. I'll send him some when I get samples. Eagle Claw has developed hooks with scent in them and we have a two year exclusive for inline spinners. I'm sure other companies will be using them also.Do you have any other pics?

Skip,

Bitterroot Spike extends a big thank you!

I got one other picture with this fish, but he got a little dirt on the fish. I really like the candid nature of this photo and the genuine dellight he has in landing the big guy. It was tough fishing, but the fly-dressed classic Panther Martin proved too enticing to the cutt!

Skylar,

We were backpacking, so I brought along the V1 with the 1 Nikkor 18.5mm f1.8 prime to save weight and space. I will post some of the other scenery photos when I get a chance. It was a fun trip!
