Yes.... Everyone suffers from the itchies now and again. You take care of them and they take care of you.

They were on the verge of eliminating one Atlanta race in leiu of keeping a Rockingham. More money at the Atlanta race made that decision for them.

About 3years ago an investment group wanted to build a 500 speedway east of Baltimore but the politics stopped it!  Too bad, if that had succeeded then B&D probably wouldn't have drop sponsorship of Matt Kenseth this year!  They wanted 6 million annually more than before (17 vs 11 million) and in these economic times B&D couldn't justify 7 million, so no more Dewalt racecar.

DAmn!  So how many Racecars do you own???  I almost got an autographed hood from Matt Kenseth's old car when a VP left the compnay but they decided to put it on the wall in a conference room instead, Bummer!

I have owned over 7 from start to now.....the current toy is the lighting and then the f100 is my father in laws but he's to scared to drive it down the track.....its more of a show truck but i have ran it......I got out of the race scene as much as i was, I was actually in line to race on Pinks but then they changed from Pinks to Pinks all out and i wouldn't pay the entry fee for that.

Some of the notable ones where -
Fox Body Mustang  - Fast but scary to control
68' mustang - to heavy of a car to break the 10 sec mark
03 Infiniti - was gonna be the fastest car I had owned til I totalled it (twin turbo kit was on order when i wrecked)
03 Lightning, the current toy and is down in the 11's now with slicks and race gas
05 STI - road raced this car but it handled like a dream
82? camaro - BB chevy that ended up stolen from the house while I was on vacation

Last but not least the crazyiest of them all -
79' Mazda RX7 with a widebody kit and SB ford.  Motor was built and dynoed at 550hp.  Was a street toy but some guy had more money than sense and bought it from me and rolled it racing on the back roads.

I had a Starfire GT with a sleeved and bracketed 416 SB Chevy. She'd turn mid 9's.
