Hello all,

Nice and sunny here and a second morning with a good layer of frost on the cars.

Mornin gents

Colder than the hair on a polar bear's arse, but sunny.

I'd love to go quail hunting on one of my cousins' farms. Just can't seem to get away from here long enough.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Actually, I used to have a pretty good British accent. Been a long time since I've used it though.

Morning all,

Looks like it might turn nice here but no frost last night freezing Thursday and Friday though... am off after muntjac weekend of 4th Feb so anything to kill of any remaining vegetation and get the deer moving would be great.

Mornin gents

Cloudy, with rain and snow later. May get 1-3 inches. Probably more like flurries to 2 feet.

Need to get in more firewood.

Morning all,

Sorry to hear about the kids KB, hope they are recovered soon.

It's a gorgeous day here in London, sun and blue skies and we had another frost overnight. Not sure it was quite that cold where I'm hunting in a couple of weeks but with a bit of luck...

Looks like a day at the desk though ;)

Afternoon gents.

Well, the weather man predicted a big snow storm (1-3 inches), so  schools were closed for today, but the kids can't go sleigh riding. All we got was a few lite flurries.

How come Scrummy gets all the good weather?

Morning all, started off nice here but now rather overcast.

Very British winter weather this: not quite cold enough to freeze but humid and windy enough to really take all the warmth out of you.

They are pretty much well, now.  The pains he was having may have been due to Covid.. turns out they may have contracted it from his sister, who came to Alexander's birthday party knowing she had the disease.  We have not contracted it, though, and we were there in the same proximity with the ignorant, inconsiderate wench... I have no fear of covid, but I don't want to catch it.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

There are some who do not fear death... for they are more afraid of not really living

Evening gents

Temps never got past the 20's today, but it was only partly cloudy, so as long as you were in the sun, it wasn't too bad.

Was up all night keeping the fire going in the stove. First it didn't want to burn, so I had to tend it to get and keep it going. Then after I got a good bed of coals, It would burn right through it in no time.
About 5 this AM I tossed in the last 2 pieces of wood and went to bed. Got up at 8, and there was still a good bed of coals, so a few more pieces of wood went in, but that was about it for me.
House is still pretty warm, but it's going down to single digits tonight.

Lets Go Brandon!
No parts for heating system because of supply chain issues.
