Hey Mike, can you use 22Mag in your matches?
I just picked up a almost new CZ 457 American in 22Mag and with Armscorp (cheapest ammo I tried) it shot a group at 100yds I could cover with a nickle. The previous owner said he got the same results with the cheap CCI 22Mag.

I remember a thousand years ago my buddy and I drove into Arizona from California and the Weigh Station was checking for plants and stuff. We had some cactus that we had dug up in the desert to take back home and plant and they made us throw them out!
You can't bring any PLANTS into Arizona!

Afternoon all,
Quiet day here, seems to have been a long week.
BF, I think you can, the issue with the 22 mag and .22 Hi Velocity, is it goes through the sound barrier before 200yds and the transition is often not helpful for consistent shooting. I was changing the scope out on my CZ 452 Varmint .22lr a bit earlier. Went from the Hawke 3-12x50 AO to a 5-20x50 Nikko Stirling Target Master (The Nikko has target turrets so helps with the come ups). Hopefully I will get it zeroed at 100 tomorrow but it might end up being 50 and shooting ~3" high. Then we put in 20MOA of come up to get to 200 yds. I'm using a 30MOA rail and I've got another 20MOA in Burris Zee Rings so hopefully the ~65MOA in the scope will be enough - Between 50yds and 300yds you need basically 60MOA of come up. Only annoying thing is I have chewed up one of the slines on my Torx bit so ordered another set. Bit of fun coming this week as well, need to be sighed off to drive an ATV for some of the hunting ground I want to use next year so got that course on Tuesday. Scrummy

Evening gents
I shot this morning with a friend of mine. We were shooting 22 Mag rifles, and 22 lr pistols. Heavy recoiling stuff. Mostly cloudy and broken, mild winds, and temps. Not ideal, but tolerable.
