Good morning from Gadsden Alabama. Cloudy 76 this morning looking out over the Coosa river just in front of the Coach. Today will be preparing to break camp for the trip back to Oklahoma tomorrow that will include a few stops on the way. Have not decided the route yet, other than avoiding the treacherous I 40.

Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow
Now the rules have changed again.

Mornin gents.

I hate all you retirees; at least for a little bit longer.

I hate coming to work. I used to have a job and did something; it wasn't much, but it served a useful purpose, and I had compooter access.
Now I don't do much of anything. Kinda like a firefighter at an airport, except they might make a run every few days.
I have started detailing every bodies pistols. Other than that, I feel like a thief for coming to work.
I won't go into how ucked fup things are, but I'm not leaving before my planned date. I might stay a month longer, but I'll be on vacation.

Another day closer.

Hang tough BF... you're almost there.

Just got back from Ortho Dr... torn meniscus in left knee (plus osteo-arthritis) . First, PT. If no good, surgery. Retirement is great. Getting old sucks.

Takes a BM... that's funny. I have one every 15 minutes for an hour. Just like clockwork.

I did wake up under ground, but I'm above it now.

Afternoon gents

Another day closer, but I may push it back a month or 5.

Good news, it's not raining.
Bad news, air and ground is so damp, it may as well be.

I hear ya BF. According to the weather app on my phone, our RH was 96% when I went outside to work this AM. Good grief, I thought I left Florida!

Morning all, it's a gorgeously sunny day in London.

Bit of range time with the little .223 Bolt gun over the weekend - It had developed a habbit of being occasionally eratic from it's usual very consistent shooting (Back in December it got an absolute soaking over a couple of days of hunting and thing that may have warped the stock forend a touch)

Anyway, I spent a bit of time with 200 grit sand paper and outdoor varishing relieving and "weather proofing" the barrel channel.

Popped down to the range and got this as a result with my 65gr Sierra SBT handloads:

(308W Case for scale)

Seems to work!

Scrummy
Was sure I had a point when I started this post...

Nice clean round holes with a grouping of about 0.75" ain't bad at all!!!

I have a nice Savage with thumbhole stock thats a tack drive. I sometimes shoot down the weed stalks growing below the targets when I get bored with paper...
