Mornin gentsCoffee
Well the Loonyville Zoo confirmed it. We are now a rain forest. Of course yesterday Mrs. BF said we lived in the tropics.

I shot a match Saturday morning, and the range was just plain mucking muddy. I mean the kind of muddy that would suck the shoes right off your feet.
I was talking to a friend of mine that was a Vietnam vet. I told him that if he had been infantry instead of armor, he'd either feel at home or having flash backs right now.
I spent a good portion of Sunday cleaning out the driveway ditch from the down pour Saturday night. No severe damage, but if I didn't get it done, I'd pay for it later.

Did I mention it rained most of the weekend............ A LOT.
Slowly clearing up today.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Morning all,

Turning into a nice day here after a grim start and thunderstorms yesterday.

In the nicer office today and it is actually a pleasure to work here. In other news a NIB Leupold Scout Scope 2.5x28 is up for auction tomorrow so might try and grab a bargain.

Mostly clear skies, gentle breeze, and in the low 60s with low humidity here. Really nice to feel dry for a change.

Good luck on the scout scope, Mike. Is it one of the long eye relief scopes for a scout rifle?

That's the one buddy. Want to try it on my .44mag as it's a top eject so need to mount the scope forward

Morning all,

Rather grey and overcast here. In a couple of hours, I'm off to Dundee in Scotland for my Masters degree reunion. Should be fun.

Morning Boys,  Well I enjoyed to 4 days of no rain.... it was surreal!
Awoke to a steady rain this morning and endured it the drive in.
They claim it will go dry again the rest of the week.  I believe, i believe, I believe....(there was some heel clicking involved too).

hello folks, torrential rain here. On a train going most of the length of the UK and flooded rivers and fields abound. Not much sign of a let up. Farmers will be hit with quite a lot of flattened grain in the fields.

Mostly cloudy, in the low 60s with a stiff wind, but no rain.

So Scrummy, how's the Scotch in Scotland?

Good morning folks,

It’s Friday, thank goodness for that, and at least the sun is coming out here.

Bit rough on some of the other parts of the UK though, some of the areas I went through yesterday have had the average June rainfall in 3 days. Farmers and fishermen will be up against it…

Had a bit of auction success yesterday.

Managed to pick up a as NIB Leupold scout 2.5x28 scout scopes and I will try that out on my .44 mag to see if I prefer it to the Burris Fast fire. Good thing is even with the auctioneers fees it’s still a bit less than the cheapest price I could find online in the US & Canada and  it’s over here so pleased with that. Hopefully with work with the QD rings I have in my "parts bin" too.

Also picked up some relatively inexpensive 404J in the same auction so will try and collect that in the next week or so.

Mornin gentsCoffee

Beautiful day here. Started in upper 40s and going to upper 70s. Clear skies and gentle breeze.
That was the good news. The bad news is, I'm at work and not driving the Muskrat somewhere with Mrs. BF, and the rest of the weekend and next week is in the 80s, humid, and a chance of rain every day.

Good score on the scope Scrummy.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.
