Dad's tentative discharge date is Wednesday, and it looks like Mom is going into the memory care facility on Monday.  Times they are 'a changin' friends.

Good luck Deck 🙏 .

Dealing with aging parents can be tough. But, you gotta do what you gotta do. Good luck Deck.

DID NOT!

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Nice day here on Grant Mountain... depending on location.  Humidity 38%, two thermometers, approximately 50 yards apart, one in the shade and next to shaded concrete patio, 92degF... one "in the open" in bright sun on a 4x4 wooden post 8 feet in the air, 103degF... wind averaging 4mph.  I took one of my cats out a short while ago... he walked into the sun, stood for about 30 seconds, looked at me (like I could do something about it), then walked back into the shade... smart cat.
