I don't know about you but that couldn't have done your tranny any good at all.  I'd be demanding an extended warranty on it for their screw up.... I'd first ask for a replacement tranny thru Ford CS but settel for ext warranty....

Hi folks,

Sad day here. Went to the funeral of a friend of mine's son. 2 and a bit years old - 901 days according to the eulogy. I cannot begin to comprehend the grief felt.

Stay safe and treasure your loved ones

Scrummy

Mornin gents

Scattered showers and T-storms, but the temps aren't bad.

Sorry for your friend's loss Scrummy.

Believe me, I have all the paperwork and names of the service manager and tech who did the "work". I did tell the main guy there if I had any subsequent transmission problems I'd be bringing it back there with all the paperwork in hand stating what they did and didn't do correctly the first time around and they'd be responsible for fixing and paying for any issues. I wasn't as ass but I was firm. Driving around it all weekend with significantly less than normal fluids in there had some negative impact. Hopefully it was very minimal but regardless their f**k up is well documented.

So sorry for your friends loss, I can't begin to imagine the pain. Prayers for their entire family....I have a 6 year old son and when I hear stories of children passing it really hits home. Life is fleeting indeed.

Morning folks,

Yesterday was a difficult day. The service was well attended and heartening to see friends and family rallying round.

Further sadness is that the parents were supposed to marry this Saturday. They have postponed.

Still, the sun shines here and we have to live life and look after the living.

Scrummy

Mornin gents.

Clear skies, humidity dropping, and temps only going to mid 80s.

Funerals are always a drag on emotions. What does put the fun in funeral though, is meeting friends and family that you haven't seen in a long time, remembering times from the past, and being thankful that your not the guest of honor.

I'm waiting for Hollywood to come out with Funeral Crashers.....Couldn't be any worse then the crap they're putting out there these days.

I'm most appalled by what they've done to the Star Wars franchise. I rarely go to the movies or spend money on "entertainment" these days. Hell, I have the lowest TV package Comast offers and probably will just get rid of it soon as I rarely watch anymore....

One of the all time great movies!

Maybe a native tribe will gift me a woman as well. Lord knows trying to find any the normal way is a waste of time and energy and usually ends up taking years off your life....Sleepy

STAR WARS will never end. Disney bought the rights, and they will do their best to keep the war going as long as they can make money off of it.

Cherokee? I would have thought your wife would have come from the western tribes.
Mrs. BF is part Sue, and I would have figured her to be from an eastern tribe. Go figure.

Which is sad because the product is suffering greatly....but they don't care. It's a yearly cash cow. Hundreds of millions of easy cash flow.

Morning all, up early as heavy rain woke me. Quite welcome as has cleared the air a bit. Sun is coming up, currently 52 and heading to 72.

I must sort out my entries for this weekend's shooting competitions...

BF, you are quite right, there was a good turn out of friends from as far away as South Carolina so I think that helped in a small way.

My wife is mostly Cherokee. My Dad had come to Oklahoma to visit during Christmas, shortly after I met her. He was giving  Diana a hard time, He gave everybody a hard time. She did a stomp dance around him with some chanting. He asked what was that. She said it was a Snow dance. He replied laughing "It is 78 degrees how can it snow." Next morning there was 6" on the ground and continued for 8". The weathermen were completely surprised by the sudden snow storm from nowhere. My Dad left my wife alone for the rest of his life. I have found it wise to say Yes Ma'am for the past 38 years. Confused

Mornin gents.

Started out in the low 60s upper 50s and going to upper 80s, the humidity is going up too. The sky is clear, and it's to beautiful to be at work.

We've quite a few Cherokee around here; enough to have a few that are still full blooded. There is one that works parking during the machine gun shoot at KCR; real nice guy. He's a big guy, about 6' tall and 4' wide, has long black and greying hair. He also has crazy looking eyes that make him look like a drunk Indian looking for a scalp. He usually carries a big knife and a pistol. Everybody is nice to him.
